Claire Emma (Dodd) Sherer
(1900 - 1974)
Claire Emma Dodd was the only child of Thomas
Hewitt and Nora Elizabeth (Yost) Dodd. She married Clayton Miller
Sherer in 1922 and their only child, Bernard Dodd Sherer was born the
following year. After Barney was grown, Clayton and Claire were
divorced. She moved to California in the early 1950s and died there in
1974.
